The invitations for Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton's retirement reception are out. City Hall Reporter Amos Maki received a copy of the invite sent to city of Memphis employees.

Do you think this really will be a retirement reception? Or, does Herenton have more surprises in the pipeline?

Maybe I'll just toddle on down for a free late lunch on at hizzonors expense...that's about all he's good for.

It will not be a reception, it will be a celebration, in fact there should be fireworks.

What does it measure, and what's on the back? I may want to print one out so I can sneak in.
